Machine Tool Show in China

World-renowned machine tool exhibitions are mainly concentrated in global manufacturing hubs, with the "Four Major International Machine Tool Exhibitions" recognized by the international industry being: the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT), EMO Hannover, the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, USA, and the Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF).

These exhibitions serve not only as important platforms for technological exchange and trade but also represent the highest level and development trends of the global machine tool industry.

In this article we will present the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT).
The exhibition is held in odd-numbered years (every two years).

It is the most renowned and largest-scale professional machine tool exhibition in China, known as the "largest machine tool exhibition in Asia." Since its inception in 1989, it has become one of the leading indicators of the global machine tool and tool industry. The 19th CIMT2025 was successfully held in Beijing in April 2025, attracting over 2,400 enterprises from 30 countries and regions, with a total exhibition area of 310,000 square meters.
The next edition, CIMT2027, is expected to take place in Beijing in April 2027.

China CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT) is hosted by the China Machine Tool Industry Association and held in Shanghai every even year. It is a sister exhibition to CIMT (China International Machine Tool Show). The next edition, CCMT2026, will be held from April 21 to 25, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, continuing to focus on the cutting-edge trends of intelligent manufacturing.
