How to apply Buyer Badge and Interpreter/Assistant Badge for Canton Fair?

The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held from October 15 to November 4, 2026. Applications for companion passes for overseas buyers opened on September 28, 2026.
If you plan to attend the Canton Fair with a local assistant or interpreter, please review the following application requirements, eligibility criteria, and fees in advance to ensure a smooth registration process.

Step 1: The buyer should have their badge or have applied a badge through the official website o Canton Fair App. One just need to register, fill the personal/company information and submit a photo to apply the badge. It’s easy and free.

Step 2: The buyer should apply their assistant’s badge through the official channel (official website o Canton Fair App). The overseas buyer must initiate the application; the assistant or interpreter cannot apply independently.
Important: Applications must be submitted at least two calendar days in advance. For example, if you want a interpreter be with you on September 15, the last day to apply is September 13. On the date September 15, it´s just possible to apply interpreter for September 17.

Step 3: Each overseas buyer may apply for a maximum of two companions per session: one assistant, one interpreter. Even though you need an interpreter, it´s recommended apply companion of assistant instead of interpreter, because the sistem will require the interpreter to provide proof of relevant language qualifications, which will make the system’s review process more complicated, cause delay and affect your plan. 

Step 4：When the application is approved, the buyer can enter the fair with his/her assistant. The fair will charge for the assistant’s entrance badge. The fee is: Daily fee: RMB 300 per day+Badge production fee: RMB 50 per Badge. The fee should be paid by buyer/assistant under the service term between the buyer and the assistant.
